College Tech Prep generally begins in the 11th grade. Programs are offered at career centers and some high schools. Prospective College Tech Prep students must meet minimum requirements:

Prerequisites:

• 2.0 grade point average
• completion of Algebra I with a "C" or better
• junior standing with no academic deficiencies
